Domaine Belleville Rully La Perche
“La Perche” evokes an old agricultural unit of measure—one hundredth of an acre—and hints at the nearby woodland influence that shapes this site. The vineyard sits on a clay-limestone terroir at the base of the slope, with rich, well-structured clay soils. The vines, around 30 years old, are carefully cultivated and worked to control vigour and maintain balance. The wine is matured for 12 months in barrel, including 35% new oak. In the glass, it shows a luminous, translucent light gold hue. The nose is vibrant and expressive, opening on white flowers and citrus blossom, with layers of almond and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is fresh and lifted, combining lemon zest and exotic fruit tones with a clean, energetic drive, leading to a refined, balanced, and persistent finish.
