A rich and beautifully expressive whisky with a generous sherried character. The nose is full-bodied and inviting, offering layers of ripe orchard fruit, citrus, sultanas and chewy grape, complemented by warming winter spices of clove and cinnamon. Hints of vanilla fudge, soft smoke, fresh-cut grass and apple peel add further complexity.
The palate is rich, sweet and rounded, with flavours of barley sugar, honeycomb and fruit cake alongside notes of chocolate orange, cocoa and toasted oak. The sherry influence brings depth and richness, while the subtle spice and gentle smoke provide balance and elegance.
The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of dry, chewy oak, peppery spice, dark chocolate and a final echo of dried fruit.
