Port Askaig Islay 8 Year Old Whisky
Released as part of the 2023 Port Askaig relaunch, this 8 Year Old showcases the distinctive character of Islay through a carefully considered maturation process. Initially aged in American oak barrels, it is then further matured for over five years in a combination of bourbon casks, toasted American oak barrels, PX sherry butts and refill hogsheads, adding layers of complexity and depth.
As with all Port Askaig whiskies, it is bottled without chill filtration or added colouring, allowing the natural character, texture and flavour of the spirit to shine through.
