Led by owner Brian Talley and winemaker Eric Johnson, the estate is based in the newly established San Luis Obispo AVA, affectionately known as the “SLO Coast” and considered the coldest AVA in California. Although Talley Vineyards is located about a three-hour drive northwest of Los Angeles, the cool Pacific Ocean winds create an ideal climate for cultivating Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
