Clos Saint Jean Traditional

In 1994, Joël made the decision to leave behind unprofitable Charolais beef cattle farming and follow his passion for wine by purchasing Combe. He was soon joined by his son Richard, a trained banker who at the time was working with goat herds in the Aveyron region. Together, they combined their skills and interests to generate initial income through dairy production, while the goats also provided organic fertiliser for the vineyards. In January 2003, the family venture expanded further with the arrival of Frédéric, Joël’s younger son.
