Chateau Ksara Blanc de lObservatoire

Château Ksara is the oldest winery in Lebanon, with origins dating back to 1857 when Jesuit monks acquired the estate. Drawing on their expertise in science and agriculture, they planted French grape varieties and developed around two kilometres of Roman-era caves, which provided ideal natural cellars for wine storage. The property was sold to its current owners in 1973. Today, Ksara stands as both the most modern winery in the region and the country’s largest producer.
