Chateau Bouscasse Madiran

Château Bouscassé Madiran is made using an extended maceration of 30 to 45 days, during which the juice remains in prolonged contact with the skins. This technique is particularly suited to the thick-skinned, highly tannic Tannat, though it requires significant skill and time to achieve balance and finesse.

The wine is then aged for 36 months in a combination of barrels and large 80hl oval wooden casks, followed by a further two years of bottle ageing before release.
