Recchia ‘Le Muraie’ Valpolicella Ripasso
Traditionally, brothers Riccardo and Roberto Recchia supplied bulk wine to many of the prestigious names in Valpolicella. The new generation is using their prime vineyards to speed the transition from bulk to bottle, starting with construction of a brand new winery in Masua. This is a ripasso Valpolicella made using grape skins from the recioto fermentation, giving the wine a gorgeously velvety sweetness to go with dense, lush fruit tannins.
