The estate lies in the commune of MARUGGIO, in the province of Taranto. Close to the Ionian seaside. It is in the central part of the Salento region, in the prestigious area of Primitivo Manduria DOP. The Estate takes its name from this traditional buildings. Dry stone huts which were mainly used as field shelters or storehouses by Saracen populations hundreds of years ago.
