Chateau Bouscasse Brumaire
Petit Manseng is one of the world’s great sweet wine grapes, prized for its remarkable ability to combine luscious sweetness with vibrant natural acidity. Harvested late in the season, the grapes partially dehydrate on the vine, concentrating their flavours and producing richly textured wines with notes of candied citrus, tropical fruit and honey, balanced by exceptional freshness.
Three distinct cuvées are produced, each named after a month in the French Revolutionary calendar and harvested at increasing levels of natural ripeness: Vendémiaire (October), Brumaire (November) and Frimaire (December). Each successive harvest delivers greater concentration while retaining the hallmark precision and elegance of Petit Manseng. Widely regarded as some of the finest sweet white wines in the world, Bouscassé’s Pacherencs are celebrated for their purity, complexity and extraordinary ageing potential.
