Sazerac Straight Rye

If you enjoy straight rye whiskey, Sazerac Straight Rye is well worth trying. Made from rye grain and distilled in Kentucky, it is aged for at least two years in new, charred oak barrels. On the nose, it’s sweet and spice-led with stem ginger in syrup, orange zest, freshly ground black pepper, and mixed citrus peels. The palate is rich and full of spice, showing Seville orange marmalade, allspice, peanut butter, toffee, and a touch of barrel char as it develops. It finishes with an oily texture and a lingering spicy warmth.
