This is a blend of 60% Corvina and 40% Merlot. The wine has a lovely and intense dark colour and rich character which is the result of using the dried grape, appassimento process. It develops aromas and of black cherries, prunes and wild berries. Full bodied wine, the palate is velvety, spicy and elegant, with a very long and lingering finish.
