Domaine Raspail-ay Gigondas
Domaine Raspail-Ay is one of the most respected traditional estates in Gigondas. The domaine is currently led by Dominique Ay, now joined by his children Christophe Ay and Anne-Sophie Ay.
The vineyards average around 40 years of age and are planted mainly to 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre. Grapes are fully destemmed, fermented in cement tanks, and matured in a combination of foudres and concrete vats. The wines are neither fined nor heavily filtered.
Richly fruited and classically styled, these wines are known for their depth, authenticity and impressive ageing potential.
