The Napoleon occupies a distinctive position between VSOP and XO in the traditional Cognac classification. It is composed of a blend of more than ten different eaux-de-vie, each aged well beyond the minimum regulatory requirements. True to the house style, this Napoleon is remarkably smooth and rounded, with a gentle natural sweetness. Aromas of linden blossom, dried flowers, plum, and dried fruits are complemented by a prominent vanilla character. On the palate, it is supple, generous, and well-rounded, gradually revealing subtle rancio notes on the finish for added depth and complexity.
