Avignonese Il Marzocco Chardonnay
In 1987, Avignonesi became the first winery in Tuscany to produce a barrel-aged white wine using grapes cultivated in the foothills of Cortona. Today, the wine continues to set trends through a unique vinification process that combines a concrete egg, a terracotta jar, and oak barrels. Elegant and dynamic, it takes its name from a stone lion—a symbol of wisdom and strength—located in front of Palazzo Avignonesi in Montepulciano.
