Trossos del Priorat 90 Minuts
Trossos del Priorat 90 Minuts is a distinctive blend of 85% Garnacha and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, produced from vines growing on the steep, rocky terraces of Priorat. The region’s hot, dry climate and challenging terrain result in naturally low yields and intensely flavoured grapes, giving the wine its concentration, depth and complexity.
Trossos del Priorat follows environmentally conscious farming practices, cultivating its own vineyards organically. While the estate is not officially certified organic, this is partly because a proportion of the grapes are sourced from local growers who lack the facilities to make their own wine.
The grapes undergo around 21 days of fermentation in stainless-steel tanks before the wine is transferred to a combination of French and American oak for 12 months of maturation. Bottling takes place in lightweight recycled glass, helping to reduce the wine’s overall environmental footprint.
The result is a rich yet balanced expression of Priorat, combining generous ripe fruit with structure, spice and a distinctive sense of place.
