Clos de la Chapelle is a Champagne house we greatly admire. For those unfamiliar, it is a small co-operative based in Villedommange, a Premier Cru village at the entrance to the Marne Valley. Offering excellent value, this Premier Cru Champagne rivals many Grande Marque labels at a significantly more accessible price point. We strongly believe that small growers such as Clos de la Chapelle often surpass the major brands in quality. On the nose, Exquis opens with floral aromas and a pleasant aromatic backdrop. The palate is fresh, airy and savoury, with a perfumed character that develops brioche notes after swirling, leading to a long, flavourful finish.
