Albourne Estate Blanc de Blancs Brut
This is only the second Zero Dosage sparkling wine we have released, made from selected hand-picked Chardonnay grapes gently pressed to extract the highest quality cuvee juice. Portions of juice underwent primary fermentation in large French new oak barrels with subsequent prolonged lees contact in barrel prior to blending. After secondary fermentation this wine enjoyed over 3 years on-lees maturation in bottle, all of which has helped to create a beautifully balanced and elegant Sussex sparkling wine with layers of complexity, great poise and length. On disgorging we decided on Zero Dosage to allow the elegance and balance of the wine speak for itself. Just 1,500 of these bottles were produced and at such great value they will not be around for long.
