Diamantakis Petali Assyrtiko
Diamantakis is a modern, family-run winery based in Crete, just southwest of Heraklion in the Malevizi region. Its vineyards are situated at around 450 metres above sea level on the eastern slopes of Mount Psiloritis.
Petali Assyrtiko is vibrant and expressive, offering citrus-driven flavours alongside floral aromas and hints of Cretan herbs such as oregano and thyme. Crisp and lively, it has a pronounced acidity that gives real freshness. Three months on the lees adds texture, depth, and complexity, leading to a long finish marked by bright minerality.
