De Bortoli Deen Master Blend Red
Bright red with a garnet tint, it shows aromas of blueberry, chocolate, and subtle cedar spice. The palate is generous and layered, offering abundant dark fruit, structured tannins, and a touch of dark chocolate.
The fruit was harvested in the cool morning hours to preserve freshness. On arrival at the winery, each variety and region was kept separate, carefully destemmed, and transferred into Potter fermenters for a cool fermentation lasting 6–10 days. After pressing at dryness, the wine was matured for 12 months in a mix of new and older American and French hogsheads.
This is a multi-regional blend designed to express the character of each component: spicy Shiraz from Heathcote, rich Durif from Riverina, and cool-climate Cabernet Sauvignon from the Yarra Valley, coming together in a harmonious and well-balanced wine.’
