Odd Lot Pinot Noir
Inviting aromas of black cherry and ripe plum lead to vibrant flavours of red cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle hints of mocha and toasted oak. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, the palate is framed by silky tannins and finishes with lingering red fruit notes. A versatile Pinot Noir, perfect alongside BBQ pulled pork, roast chicken, mild sausages or stuffed mushrooms.
The fruit is carefully sorted before being destemmed, crushed and fermented in stainless steel at warm temperatures. Gentle punch-downs are carried out several times daily to maximise colour, flavour and tannin extraction. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is pressed, settled and racked before maturing in a combination of new and seasoned French oak. This careful oak ageing adds subtle layers of vanilla and toasted spice while preserving the wine’s bright fruit character.
