Clos de la Chapelle is a Champagne house we greatly admire. For those unfamiliar, it is a small co-operative based in Villedommange, a Premier Cru village at the entrance to the Marne Valley. This Premier Cru Champagne offers outstanding value, competing with many Grande Marque labels while remaining far more accessible in price. We firmly believe that small growers like Clos de la Chapelle often outperform the major houses in terms of quality. The “Brut Millésimé 2014” is crafted from an equal blend of the three main grape varieties and shows a deep, sustained golden colour. It finishes fresh and tangy, with a harmonious profile that allows it to be enjoyed now or left to age further, where time will enhance its complexity.
