Krohn LBV Port
Krohn Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port is a rich, fortified red wine from Portugal’s Douro Valley, produced from traditional Port varieties including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and Tinta Barroca.
LBV Port is made from grapes harvested in a single vintage and traditionally spends four to six years maturing in wooden barrels before bottling. This extended ageing gives LBV a style that combines the generous fruit of Ruby Port with some of the depth and complexity associated with Vintage Port.
Krohn LBV displays a deep ruby colour, with enticing aromas of ripe black fruit and warming spice. The palate is rich and expressive, offering flavours of plum and blackberry alongside subtle spicy notes. Firm tannins and fresh acidity provide structure and balance, leading to a long, persistent finish.
