The château, with more than a millennium of history, has remarkably stayed within the same family since its origins. Its 35 hectares of vineyards are rooted in gravel soils and planted with 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot.
