Domaine Remoriquet Coteaux Bourguignons Rouge
The grapes come from regional appellation vineyards located on the plains around Nuits-Saint-Georges. The vines are approximately 40 years old on average, contributing to the wine’s depth and character.
The grapes undergo careful sorting in the winery before being either fully or partially destemmed, depending on the vintage. A 3–4 day cold pre-fermentation maceration helps to enhance colour, aroma and fruit character. Fermentation takes place over 10–15 days, with gentle punch-downs and pump-overs used to develop supple tannins while preserving the wine’s vibrant red-fruit profile.
The wine is then aged for 10–12 months, with one-third matured in oak barrels and two-thirds in tank. A light filtration through white earth is carried out prior to bottling, preserving the wine’s freshness and character.
