Domaine Grosbois Chinon Cuisine de ma Mere
Domaine Grosbois is a 9-hectare family-run estate managed by brothers Nicolas Grosbois and Sylvain Grosbois. The vineyard is based at “Le Pressoir” in Panzoult, within the Chinon appellation in the heart of the Loire Valley.
Nicolas Grosbois joined the family domaine in 2008 after a decade working as a “flying winemaker”, gaining international experience in New Zealand, Australia, Chile and Oregon. Influenced by this global background, he favours vinification and ageing in concrete rather than wood to preserve purity, freshness and energy, with no new or old oak used since 2015.
Sylvain Grosbois also built his experience abroad, working in Chile, Oregon with Domaine Drouhin, and Australia before returning to the family estate.
