Champagne Lucien Collard Blanc de Noirs NV
The Collard family established its roots in Bouzy in 1919, following the marriage of Lucien Collard and Julia Bara. Julia came from a family of winegrowers who had been established in this Grand Cru village since 1833.
Today, Auriane, goddaughter of the late Lucien Collard, continues the family’s winemaking tradition, crafting a small range of exceptional Champagnes from just two hectares of vines: one hectare in Bouzy and another in Celles-sur-Ource in the Aube.
A strong commitment to quality and terroir lies at the heart of the domaine. The vines are cultivated using organic treatments, complemented by selected practices inspired by biodynamic farming. Sulphur use is kept to a minimum, while low dosage and extended ageing allow the wines to develop greater complexity and preserve a clear expression of their origins.
Before joining the family domaine, Auriane gained valuable experience working for a year at Champagne Jacqueson, further developing her understanding of meticulous, terroir-focused winemaking.
