Ca Dei Maghi Amarone Della Valpolicella Riserva Canova
A classic Amarone della Valpolicella offering rich layers of cherry, plum, spice, and dark chocolate, this wine captures the depth and elegance for which Amarone is renowned. Cà dei Maghi is a small estate nestled among the rolling hills and vineyards of Valpolicella, just outside the town of Fumane. While the winery’s roots date back to the 1950s, it was under the leadership of Paolo Creazzi from 2011 onwards that the estate truly flourished, with a renewed focus on expressing the timeless character of traditional Valpolicella wines.
The Amarone “Canova” is produced from hand-harvested grapes sourced from the Canova vineyard. After harvest, the grapes are carefully dried for three to four months to concentrate their flavours and intensity. The wine is then aged for up to 60 months in large wooden barrels, allowing it to develop remarkable depth, complexity, and refinement over time.
