Bodegas Martinez Lacuesta Rioja Crianza
Established in 1985, Martínez Lacuesta has earned a reputation as one of Rioja’s most respected producers, crafting wines that consistently showcase the region’s quality and character. The vineyards, situated at elevations of 450–600 metres above sea level, are planted with vines averaging 25 years of age.
The wine is matured for 18 months in a combination of new and second-use American oak barrels, followed by a further six months of bottle ageing to enhance its balance and complexity.
Rich and well structured, it offers flavours of ripe fruit layered with notes of cocoa and sweet spice. Its balanced profile makes it an excellent companion to grilled and roasted meats, as well as a wide selection of mature cheeses.
