Borgo de Trulli Susumaniello Rosé
Delicate pale pink in colour, this elegant rosé offers fragrant aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries and spring flowers. The palate is bright, fresh and beautifully balanced, with lively acidity, subtle red berry flavours and a smooth, rounded finish.
The grapes are gently destemmed and softly pressed before the juice is cooled to 10°C. A short 6–8 hour skin maceration imparts its delicate blush colour, after which the juice is separated from the skins and clarified to remove the heavier lees. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a cool 14–16°C using selected yeasts, preserving freshness and vibrant fruit character. Around 10% of the wine is fermented in seasoned oak barriques for approximately 60 days, adding subtle texture and complexity without overt oak influence.
Following fermentation, the wine spends three months on its fine lees, enhancing aromatic intensity, richness and mouthfeel while retaining its crisp, refreshing style.
