Domaine Claude Maréchal Bourgogne Rouge “Cuvée Gravel” is a 100% Pinot Noir wine sourced from vineyards in the Côte d’Or, around Pommard and Bligny-lès-Beaune.
It shows a medium to medium-full-bodied style, with bright red fruit aromas of cherry, raspberry and strawberry, layered with earthy undertones, violet notes and a gentle hint of spice and vanilla from restrained oak ageing. On the palate, it is smooth and well-balanced, with fine tannins, lively acidity and a long, energetic finish that can gain further complexity with short-term cellaring.
