With that in mind, January is the perfect time to try something new, or ‘Tryanuary’ as social media calls it. 1883 No added Sulphur Merlot, Bordeaux, France. From legendary négociants, Maison Sichel. This juicy Merlot packs bucketloads of red fruits, with a soft, velvety finish.
Monkey Morio, Hanewald-Shwerdt, Pfalz, Germany. From the unusual grape Muskat Morio, think of this like an aromatic, off-dry Riesling. Perfect for guzzling whilst you’re prepping dinner.
Domaine Cassagnau Rouge, South of France. A Shiraz, Grenache, Merlot blend that oozes strawberry, raspberry and cherry flavours. One for when you want an nice glass of red after you had one of those days.
