A Journey Through France Case
France. Quite possibly the most fabled country for producing wine. We’ve all had a bottle (or two) from the country across the channel, but why is it just so famous? France is home to such a wide array of wines that even selecting this ‘Journey Through’ case is quite challenging.
We’ve picked 6 of the most iconic regions which start from the north and work all the way south. Beginning in north, we’ve picked a classic Champagne by the way of Gallimard et Fils NV. A lovely father/son team making beautiful Champagne in the south of the region. Next up is the Loire Valley and everyone’s favourite white for fish, Muscadet! We then swing over to Chablis, the home of the steely Chardonnay from Burgundy before entering the land of Bordeaux. Chateau Daviaud is a classic Claret that showcases why the British love a good Bordeaux. The final two choices are a full bodied, gutsy Cotes du Rhone and then we finish up in the south of France in Provence, home to rosé.
Each of our selection boxes contains a bottle of each and we’ve added a fairly hefty discount too!
This case includes;
Gallimard Pere et Fils Champagne NV
Domaine de la Breonniere Muscadet sur lie
Domaine Fournillon Chablis
Chateau Daviaud Bordeaux Superieur
Roger Sabon Le Sabounet
Le Rollier Rosé
