Located in the famous hills of Valpolicella, east of Lake Garda in North-Eastern Italy,
Agricola Recchia was founded when in 1906, Giovanni Battista Recchia bought a small parcel in Jago, Valle de Negrar and started to produce wine. Now the estate has expanded to over 60 hectares of vineyards, but remains firmly family driven, being run by grandsons and great-grandchildren of the founder.
We’ve worked with Recchia for over a decade. Many of you have drunk the wines before. Recchia produce the whole spectrum of wines from the region, from Bardolino all the way through to Amarone and Recioto, and we think they are fantastic value for money right across the board. The Bardolino is very much a firm favourite; think of it as Italy’s answer to Beaujolais. It is very easy drinking and can even be chilled for the summer months.
How this offer works is; you buy a case while the wine is being shipped from Italy to us here in Hove, and when the wines arrives (est. mid to end of May), we’ll deliver it to your door. What could be better, great wine at a cheaper price, delivered directly to you!
