Chateau Lamourette Sauternes 2012
A classy Sauternes which we’ve imported via our friends at the Vindependents. A classic Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend which oozes pineapples, apricots and a touch of spice. A delicious dessert wine that isn’t too cloying on the finish. Bloomin’ lovely.
Producer Profile
This is a great little estate in Sauternes, due to it’s small size everything is done by hand resulting in a truly artisan wine. The grapes are hand harvested over multiple ‘tries’ and fermented in Inox to preserve the fruit profile. The wines are then aged partly in barrel to add complexity and partly in tank. 2010 and 2015 vintages are available in full and half bottles.
