Mercurey Premier Cru, Domaine Mercurey

A cracking producer we found the last time we were in Burgundy. A richer style of Pinot Noir which packs a fairly lively punch. Strawberries, cherries and raspberries on the nose with a hint of leafiness on the palate. A great wine with a rather unconventional label.
