Convento San Francisco Ribera del Duero
Bodega Convento San Francisco was founded in 1998 and stands on the remains of an ancient Franciscan Convent, dating back to 1265 in the village of Peñafiel in Valladolid. Convento harvests each vinayard plot at optimum ripeness, manually in 15Kg boxes. All the grapes go through a double selection process, first of bunches and, after destemming, the grapes will be selected individually before being vatted.
