Old World vs New World Tasting – 20th October

Quaff Hove, Wednesday 20th October.

7.30PM, £25 a ticket.

We take a look at some of the key grape in the wine world and pair them up from two countries from the Old World Wand the New World.  For those of you who do not know, we refer to Europe as the Old world, and the rest of the world as the New World.  We will choose four key grapes, Riesling, Chardonnay, Primitivo and the classic Rhone Valley blend (Syrah/Grenache/Mourvedre) and match them with two countries which are polar opposites in taste.  We will taste eight wines in total.

We will showcase a delicious and unexpected Chardonnay from Idalo, USA.  A gutsy and juicy Primitivo from the famous Manduria region of Puglia, Italy and of course, one of the kings of the wine world, Chateaunerf-du-Pape.

Why not join us for delightful evening exploring more from the world of wine!
