A special vineyard selection is used to make this Chianti Classico Riserva. The selected vineyards are higher in altitude and face South. The Sangiovese grapes mature to perfection. The Riserva is aged longer and therefore develops a bouquet of mature red fruit and chocolate. The wine is smooth and long lasting. The flavour will remain long after the wine is gone.
This wine has intense notes of red fruit and hints of vanilla due to 3 months ageing in American oak barrels. On the palate it is rich and balanced. An intense purply red with violet hues. Intense aromas of fresh red berries together with hints of vanilla from ageing in oak. A fruit-driven, balanced red wine with long finish.
A perfumed nose with hints of blackberries and a touch of spice. This Rhone is a blend of three different Cotes du Rhone Villages which is roughly comprised of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. It is almost unoaked.
Fresh red berry fruits on the nose, also morello cherry and plum with hints of pepper. It's a classic juicy Barossa style, warm berry fruits to the fore, fresh and lively with spice and white pepper and some subtle oak notes too. Good acidity keeeps it really well balanced and it's a big, yet balanced juicy mouthful and has the classic Beak hallmark of drinkability. Certainly the best Beak since the 2006 vintage.
The Mourvedre grape produces wonderfully rich, rustic flavoured wines with a sumptuous texture. This wine is full bodied with a ripe palate of black cherries, cinnamon, clove, pepper, meat, & creamy oak.
Plenty of ripe spicy dark fruit on the nose with a lovely chocolate note. On the palate, there's intensity but good freshness as well, with lots of velvety black fruit, dark chocolate and spice. The tannins are really ripe and there's lots of juicy acidity, all very balanced. The finish is smooth and lengthy.

Lashes of cherries, oak spice and notions of blackcurrents on the nose with silky, rich tannins on the palate. A superb wine that has great aging potenial but is also drinking beautifully now. A real gem.
