Les Crais is a small vineyard within Burgundy, which is very important as there are a lot of dull wines out there at the moment! An elegant wine with supple notes of red fruits but is beautilfully supported but oak spices. It will need a little decanting but is totally worth the wait!
Good Burgundy at an affordable level is becoming harder and harder to find, we have tasted 100s and only really settled on a dozen that we really enjoy. Domaine Berthaut is one of them. A powerful red that delivers rich ripe red fruits but is elegantly supported but oak spice and supple tannins.
